A JOURNEY TO SELF-MASTERY
A journey to self-mastery is more like living a boring life.
You must be truly ready.
You will need patience, resistance, and persistence in order to gain resilience.
Understand this clearly:
You will be abandoning old habits and adopting new ones.
The problem with most people is that they want change without pain.
They expect transformation to arrive wrapped in pleasure and comfort.
They do not want to pass through struggle.
Not realizing that struggle is the sacrifice —
and the place where most discoveries are made.
Forgetting that there is no such thing as something for nothing.
Visualize it this way:
Abandoning what has been part of you your whole life, and adopting what is not,
is like bringing a new child into the world.
For that child to grow —
to become a better version of itself —
it needs a guardian.
A constant observer.
An active presence that nurtures it through discipline.
You are both the child and the observer.
